Daily Living Needs PDF Print E-mail

No matter what age, we are always looking for reliable people to help install a new garbage disposal, to hang a new light fixture, to change locks on our homes, to water our plants when we are on vacation, to take us to the airport or the opera. San Francisco Village has created (and is continuing to build) a data base of service providers who we have vetted for coming into your homes and getting the job done professionally and efficiently. And we have negotiated discounts for our members.

For many of our members' needs, depending on the complexity, we try to answer you requests with our volunteers. When that is not possible, we have up to three companies in every category that we recommend to you. We will either give you the names and numbers, or contact them for you.

Here are some examples of the services we arrange for you:

  • Transportation
  • Meal preparation/delivery
  • Grocery shopping
  • Rx delivery
  • Home repair/maintenance
  • Computer assistance
