Our first step is to have a member of our staff or welcoming team meet with with you in your home to identify your goals, interests, concerns and needs. We want to know why you decided to join SFV and how we can best satisfy your specific wishes and desires. | Once we know your interests, we discuss the many activities and services that are available to you. We make suggestions, invite you to attend gatherings that match your desires, and we welcome your participation in the Village. If we do not yet offer what you want, we find it or create it. | The raison d'etre for SFV is for you to make new connections and to strengthen existing ones. From joining a book club, to taking a yoga class, to getting a plumber for a stopped-up drain, SFV is the central hub for reaching out into the community. One of the most requested services is for transportation. We have volunteers ready to drive a member to a doctor's appointment, or we recommend one of the three vetted transport providers in our database. | We call you within days after you have had the services of one of our vendors or volunteers. First and foremost, we want to know if you were satisfied and, secondly, we want to make sure that we can recommending that service provider to other members. |
